BrainFuse HelpNow™ provides differentiated learning solutions for students of diverse needs and backgrounds.

Students communicate with live, online tutors using an interactive, virtual whiteboard to chat, write,  draw,  copy/paste text or images, and graph homework problems.

HelpNow also offers skills building and test preparation where after taking a quiz, the user can then connect directly to a live tutor to review the topics and questions covered in the quiz.

Both the student and the tutor can view the quiz questions and the corresponding student answers for an intensive test prep which may include loading lessons onto the whiteboard. Live Interview Coaching: Patrons can brush up on interview techniques or get live online interview practice from trained job coaches. Job coaches and patrons communicate via live chat in our online classroom. In addition to live interview coaching, patrons enjoy 24/7 access to interview tips and career resources.

Resume Lab: Patrons can submit their resumes any time through the JobNow Resume Lab and a job coach will send it back within 24 hours with detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement. Users are also able to download resume templates, or browse resources for producing better resumes.

Consumer Reports offers consumer protection and product reviews and includes articles on health, public safety, marketplace economics, and the judicial and regulatory actions that effect consumers. Available issues from 1985 to present.

EBSCOhost – Access over 1000 journals on a host of subject matters and 75,000 videos from the Associated Press going back over 90 years.

EBSCOhost – Includes Rosetta Stone language learning with 30 different languages and Explora for elementary and secondary school students. Explora provides reliable information on thousands of topics including geography, math, biographies, science, social studies and more.

EBSCOhost – This rich collection of consumer health information provides access to full-text consumer health magazines and reference books. It also includes searchable full text for current health pamphlets.

EBSCO’s MasterFILE Elite indexes over 2,000 magazines, of which 1,000 are full-text and includes access to Consumer Reports.

It also includes an extensive image collection containing photos, maps and flags.

Middle Search Plus contains full text for more than 150 popular, middle school magazines. In addition to the full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts of nearly 200 magazines. All full text articles are assigned a reading level indicator (Lexiles). Full txt is also available for thousands of biographies, historical essays and student pamphlets.

Freading offers fiction and non-fiction e-books, including a large collection of children’s books and the newly added Lonely Planet Guides. Not compatible with Kindle e-readers (works with Kindle Fire).

GreenFILE – Well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. HeritageQuest® Online is a comprehensive treasury of American genealogical sources—rich in unique primary sources, local and family histories, and finding aids. Powered by Ancestry.com, it provides genealogical and historical sources for more than 60 countries, with coverage dating back as early as the 1700s.

Jersey Clicks – New Jersey’s one-stop gateway to quality information. This statewide portal offers all NJ library card holders access to over 20 full-text databases funded through the New Jersey State Library, the New Jersey Network and funds from the Library Services and Technology Act.

The Image Collection database consists of more than 1 million total images in these categories, broken down as follows:

• Photographs
• Images from Canadian Press, Getty Images, and UPI
• Maps from Antenna Audio
• Photographs from public domain sources

The images consist of a wide array of photos and maps, with the emphasis on world news and events. Other areas of coverage include contemporary and historical photos of people, places, and the natural kingdom.

Providing online full text for many of the top consumer legal reference books, Legal Information Source contains more than 225 full-text publications and thousands of legal forms, with more content being added on a regular basis. A majority of the full-text legal reference books are provided through Nolo, the nation’s oldest and most-respected provider of legal information for consumers and small businesses.

Libby by Overdrive offers downloadable e-books, audiobooks,  and magazines via the Libby app. Patrons may check items out for 2 weeks. You can also access streaming content from Craftsy, The Great Courses, Indieflix, and Stingray Qello concerts with Libby. You will need your library card number and PIN to set up your account and check out items.

This database provides full-text for nearly 300 journals and periodicals and indexing and abstracts for more than 400 titles.

Newspaper Source Plus provides a full-text digital collection of the world’s major news content. It includes millions of articles from newspapers, newswires and news magazines. In addition, it offers television and radio transcripts and ongoing daily updates from popular news sources.
