Current Trends & Disputes in U.S. Foreign Policy with Dr. Brian Potter

Supporters and critics of President Trump argue that he has fundamentally changed U.S. foreign policy, but does history support this?  Despite recent political polarization, arguably the course of the United States’ role in world affairs has remained similar since the end of the Cold War.  This discussion will assess U.S. global leadership over the last three decades to judge if U.S. foreign policy has shifted significantly under Trump. Presented by Pr. Brian Potter, Associate Professor of Political Science and International Studies at The College of New Jersey.
