Coinciding with Thanksgiving, the November exhibit will be “Memories of Larison’s Turkey Farm Inn 1939-1980 from the Chester Historical Society Archives”. The exhibit will showcase photos, documents, and objects to elicit memories we have of Larison’s Turkey Farm Inn during its heyday. The exhibit will show the history of the building, how the Turkey Farm Inn got started, the evolution of the dining room, turkey raising, historic menus, cooking turkeys, a variety of historic advertising, interesting facts about the Turkey Farm Inn, and the transition of the restaurant from Willis and Ruth Larison to Arthur McGreevy.
