The Library will be closed on Monday, Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.

Distinguished Author Event

Come and Join us on Monday, April 15 for a Co-Sponsored Event with Distinguished Author – Michelle Cameron.  Register Here.  Chapter One bookstore in Mendham will host Michelle for a book signing from 4-6 PM. Then Michelle will give a talk at the Chester Library about her latest book.

Michelle’s most recent publication, a historical fiction titled “Babylon: A Novel of Jewish Exile & Return,” released by Wicked Son Press, unfolds as a multi-generational Biblical saga.  Following Sarah and her descendants, the narrative unfolds against the backdrop of their exile to Babylon, precipitated by the conquest of Judea and the destruction of the Temple by King Nebuchadnezzar’s army. Interwoven within this epic tale are the ambitions and tribulations of Nebuchadnezzar’s progeny, marked by prescient dreams, the interpretations of the prophet Daniel, palace intrigues, betrayal, and even regicide.

The Chester Lioness will be providing refreshments at the Library.

In addition to her literary endeavors, Michelle holds the position of director at The Writers Circle, an institution offering creative writing programs for both children and adults. She is also a freelance writer and editor, specializing in creative editing.

With four published works already acclaimed, Michelle anticipates the forthcoming release of her fifth novel, Napoleon’s Mirage, in the fall of 2024.
