New materials generally may be borrowed for two weeks and may be renewed if not requested by another patron.

Materials may be returned to any library in the Main Library Alliance system.

As of Sept.1, 2026 many, but not all, Chester materials will be fine free of overdue charges. Charges incurred by damage or loss will remain in place. Please honor due dates to keep our materials in circulation. Book charges will be applied if books are not returned 45 days after the due date.
