Special E-Book Collection for Kids

TumbleBooks is a collection of animated, talking picture books and chapter books which can be viewed using any reading/mobile device that has an internet connection.  The collection includes fiction, non-fiction, Read-Alongs, foreign language titles, puzzles and games.

Our TumbleBooks collection is now available on your tablet or smartphone!  The apps for both Apple iOS and Android devices and can be found in the AppStore or Google Play.

LEAP into Science:  A Family Program Exploring Balance

Saturday, April 27th  11:00 am

Join us for a family program that combines literacy and science! We will explore the concept of balance with a story and fun hands-on activities including balancing games and toys, balancing with our bodies and creating balancing structures. Best for ages 3 – 10 years old.

Library Babies

Mondays, May 6th  &  May 20th  at 11:00 am

This special program meets twice a month for infants and children up to 24 months.

Will include rhymes, stories and songs. Older siblings always welcome.

Swim Time Story Time

Tuesday, May 7th at 10:30 am

Join us for a special swim themed story time sponsored by North Jersey Aquatics.
We will share some swim stories, some pool safety tips for parents and make a fun pool noodle craft.

Paws Reading Buddies

Wednesday, May 15th  6:30 – 7:30 pm

Children gain confidence while reading aloud to a trained therapy dog.  Bring a favorite book or borrow one of ours.

Kids will receive a PAWS reading log to be stamped every time they read with one of the dogs – when their log is full they earn a free book!

Lego Club

Saturday, May 18th  11:00 am – Noon

Looking for something fun to do during Spring Break? Come to the Library and build your own Lego creation with friends.  Just bring your imagination and we’ll supply the Legos.
