Tech Help Appointments – The first Wednesday of each month between 1 pm and 3 pm.  By appointment.

Having trouble figuring out how to use that new piece of technology you bought or received as a gift? We’ll give you free beginning help on any of your devices from the iPad to your smart phone to your laptop. We also now have a volunteer who will help with PC hardware and software issues. Call Mary Murphy on 879-7612 for an appointment.

Intro to the Cloud on Friday, Jan. 20 at 10 am

Ever wonder what Cloud Computing is all about? Join us to get the following questions answered. What is the cloud? Where is the cloud? How do I know if I am using the Cloud?

Microsoft PowerPoint on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 7 pm

Learn about this presentation graphics program to create an attractive presentation that can be displayed on a computer or projection screen. Students will create a simple PowerPoint presentation using the techniques learned in class.

How to Download Library eBooks, Audiobooks and Magazines on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 7 pm

Library Director, Lesley Karczewski, will discuss how to download library materials including books, audio books, and magazines on your eReader, tablet or smart phone. Please note that Kindle eReaders that do not have an Internet Browser are not compatible with our Cloud Library.

iPad for Beginners on Friday, Feb. 24 at 10 am                                                                                                 

Learn how to use your iPad and its most popular applications.

Intro to Microsoft Excel on Wednesday, March 1 at 7 pm                                                                                          

Learn the basic functions and features of Microsoft Excel. Create a simple worksheet using labels and simple formulas. Navigate the worksheet, enter and edit data, format cells, adjust columns and rows, create a formula, print worksheets.

Excel Formulas and Functions on Wednesday, March 15 at 7 pm                                                                    

This advanced level class will include advanced formulas and functions, cross-referenced data, and working with charts and pivot tables.

Microsoft Outlook on Wednesday, April 19 at 7 pm                                                                                       

Learn how to use the popular Microsoft Outlook program. The class will cover e-mail, contacts and calendar.

Working with Pictures on Your Computer on Friday, May 5 at 10 am                                                               

We will learn about the best way to work with pictures on your computer – from moving, to editing and viewing.

Microsoft Mail Merge on Wednesday, May 17 at 7 pm                                                                                  

 Learn how to use Microsoft Word’s Mail Merge Feature to create labels and personalize letters to multiple people.
